The Wandering Mind by Open Spaces is a 4 track EP of immersive, binaural ambience and melodic gesture.

Transcendental synth drones slowly evolve and cascade around field recordings, whilst textural and melodic gestures emerge and disappear like passing thoughts.

In that sense, Open Spaces’ really does capture the EP’s title concept of a ‘Wandering Mind’. The single is called Day Dreaming and can be heard below from our Soundcloud.

Passing by gently, this EP leaves the listeners with moments of introspection, hope, melancholy, and bliss.

This record is mixed in 360 and encoded to binaural stereo for deepest immersion for the headphone listeners.

Solfeggio Sculptures is a record that uses solfeggio frequencies and binaural beats mixed in 360 to give the listener an immersive moment of hopeful respite from anxiety and fear in today’s society.

Christopher Hancock is the creator, and is a music producer, artist and lecturer in Audio and Music at SAE Sydney. He is currently doing his masters in 360 audio technologies. This record is consequently mixed in 360 in order to create a more immersive experience and enhance the effectivity of the solfeggio frequencies and binaural beats. Due to the binaurally encoded 360 mixing, we suggest using headphones for best effect.
